EMERGENCY! Fan Fiction
About Emergency!
Emergency!, a Jack Webb created and produced (Mark VII Limited) television show ran six years, from 1972 through 1977. It was the first show to feature paramedics, and focused on the paramedics of Los Angeles County Fire Department Squad 51 (John Gage and Roy DeSoto) and Rampart General Hospital's Emergency Room staff (Dr. Kelly Brackett, Dr. Joe Early, and Head Nurse Dixie McCall). Squad 51 was one of two apparatus assigned to LACoFD Station 51; the other was an Engine (pumper) staffed by a four man crew.
Stories written by this author focus primarily on the Station 51 crew, both the Engine and the Squad.
